BLEVEs can occur in any vessel where a liquid can boil, vapors expand, build pressure and eventually rupture the container.
LPG (Liquid Propane Gas) will have very large and violent results as well as gasoline tankers and other fuels covered in this training.
These are catastrophic events for personnel and surrounding areas.

Choices in dealing with potential BLEVEs:
Suppress fire so it does not heat the tank
Cool the tank with streams
Cool the tank with unmanned streams
Evacuate the area
